Partnerships with industry and conflicts of interest
AFCCRA has embarked on a national discussion with the financial counselling sector of potential conflict of interest for financial counselling in sponsorship and partnerships with industry.

Diploma in Financial CounsellingThe Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) is part of the Community Services Training Package (CSTP). From July 2006 to July 2008, the CSTP will undergo its 5 year review. AFCCRA will make a substantial submission to the review in regard to the Financial Counselling diploma. An AFCCRA working group which includes representatives from all states and territories has been established to assist AFCCRA in this process.
